What Planet Cheltenham is doing

Our aim is to create a space for practical solutions that can be carried out locally but have a wider impact.

At present, Planet Cheltenham is running a youth climate group, community fridge and other community-based events, and we are planning a programme of courses to support more sustainable living and working. Ideas including bike repair, fashion fixes, growing food and low-carbon cooking. Do you have a skill to share or an interest in learning something from others around you? If so, please get in touch.

We’re also starting to hold physical events, such as clothes swaps, growing projects, and baby and toddler sessions, and our longer term vision is to set up our own physical space where we can meetings and events, and showcase an energy-efficient building project.

There are lots of ways to get involved!

Planet Cheltenham is a hub space for people living in the town to explore ways in which to tackle climate change, fight social inequality and re-imagine a better future.
